1. Definitions

• “Company,” “we,” “our,” “us” refers to Dumpit UK.
• “Customer,” “you,” refers to the person or entity using Dumpit UK services.
• “Service” refers to the rubbish and junk removal services provided by Dumpit UK.

2. Services Offered

Dumpit UK provides rubbish and junk removal services for residential and commercial properties. We collect and dispose of unwanted items in an environmentally responsible manner, diverting as much waste as possible from landfill.

3. Pricing and Payment

3.1 Volume-Based Pricing: Charges are generally based on the volume of waste collected, calculated by the amount of space occupied in our trucks.

3.2 Weight-Based Pricing: For heavy materials like soil or rubble, charges will be based on weight at a rate of £149 per tonne (approximately 25 rubble sacks per tonne).

3.3 Quotations: An initial estimate may be provided over the phone; however, a final price will be confirmed on-site based on the actual amount of waste. All quotes are free and come with no obligation.

3.4 Payment Terms: Payment is due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept payment by cash or credit cards.

4. Cancellations and Rescheduling

4.1 Cancellation: Customers can cancel a booking free of charge if at least 24 hours’ notice is given. For cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice, a cancellation fee of 100% may apply.

4.2 Rescheduling: Customers may reschedule bookings with a minimum of 24 hours’ notice. We will make every effort to accommodate your rescheduling needs, subject to availability.

5. Waste and Items Not Accepted

Dumpit UK does not handle certain types of waste, including but not limited to:

• Hazardous materials (e.g., chemicals, asbestos)
• Explosives or flammable items
• Biological or medical waste
• Pressurised containers (e.g., gas canisters not stated otherwise)

If such items are discovered during service, Dumpit UK reserves the right to refuse their collection and disposal.

6. Customer Responsibilities

6.1 Access to Premises: The customer is responsible for ensuring clear access to the premises for the service to be carried out. If access is restricted, additional charges may apply for the extra time and effort required.

6.2 Accuracy of Information: The customer must provide accurate information regarding the type and quantity of waste. Misrepresentation may lead to additional charges.

6.3 Property Damage: Dumpit UK will take reasonable care while on customer property. However, we are not liable for any damage to the property caused due to restricted access or poor site conditions.

7. Liability

7.1 Limitation of Liability: Dumpit UK’s liability is limited to the amount paid by the customer for the specific service provided. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

7.2 Indemnification: By using our service, you agree to indemnify Dumpit UK against all liabilities, claims, damages, and expenses that arise out of your failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions.

8. Insurance

Dumpit UK is fully insured to cover any damage caused by our team during the provision of our services. This does not cover damage resulting from pre-existing conditions or restricted access as noted in Section 6.3.

9. Recycling and Environmental Responsibility

Dumpit UK is committed to recycling as much waste as possible to reduce environmental impact. We divert over 80% of waste from landfill and follow all applicable laws and regulations for responsible waste disposal.

10. Changes to Terms

Dumpit UK reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website and will become effective upon posting. It is the responsibility of the customer to review these terms periodically.

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the UK. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of [insert jurisdiction].
